Join us at this annual symposium, which calls for all process industry professionals to embrace Singapore’s new Safety Case Regime. Under the Regime introduced by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), all Major Hazards Installation (MHI) companies will be required to submit a safety case to demonstrate how risks from major accident hazards can be reduced to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP). This year’s focus will be on “Effective Management of Human Factors”.
At this one-day symposium, you will hear industry speakers share their insights and expertise on the development, implementation and management of Human Factors in the Safety Case framework. The goal of this symposium is to bring together all process industry professionals in an open dialogue, focusing on how to reduce human error, increase productivity, as well as enhance safety and comfort in the interaction between human and machines or processes.
This symposium is jointly organised by SITLEARN Professional Development, Society of Loss Prevention (SLP), NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) and the Labour Movement’s Oil, Petrochemical, Energy and Chemicals (OPEC) cluster.
