The Japanese National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) has posted an English version of their Website titled “Total Search System for Chemical Substances.” In this website, you can check the METI inventory, status by CAS number, METI number and chemical names. The site also has toxicological, ecotoxicological, inventory information, chemical substances lists under CSCL and several other regulations, all the ACGIH TLVs, etc.

This is a very comprehensive chemical information website that should be bookmarked by all SHE professionals.
