Synopsis

The first step in the process of managing security risk is to identify the threats and vulnerabilities facing a facility by conducting a Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA). In this evening talk, Mr. Eric Eckel will provide an overview of SVA and go through the following steps of the SVA process:
Asset Characterization
Threat Assessment
Vulnerability Analysis
Risk Assessment
Countermeasures Analysis
